I would bet it's a dog that was eaten, the snake doesn't look big enough to eat a sheep (Note) the places where these snakes thrive is to hot for sheep, this makes me think they meant to say goat or just have no clue /it's a dog ?
Also, note how the food item is bunched up behind the haed, the snake tried to regurgitate it's meal upon feeling threatened and the "dogs" legs folded up under the body (seating position) not allowing to pass back out due to the extra diameter of the hind quarters this caused.
So its a cow then
