Every time I hear experts talk about meth mouth they always say that it's caused by the users getting all dry mouthed (from meth) and then not drinking water, which allows plaque to decay the teeth.
Also they say that the users drink soda and whatnot which further decays the teeth.

Seems like way too simple of an explanation. I would assume that the caustic smoke was what decayed the teeth and gums, but IDK.

That's what I think. I mean, it's made with acetone type crap for goodness sake! I think that's plenty enough to get tooth rot going.
