Skin Yellow and Burned After Gas Explosion

In Nantong city, China, a gas explosion occurred when a person transferred gas from a large tank to a small tank. The explosion caused the victim to suffer severe burns, skin was burned and turned yellow.

I wonder if nitric acid was involved too in the explosion.
