Skin Horn
A horn is an abnormal change in the skin Hard growths occur most often in older people. There is even such a medical term "skin horn". Sometimes it is a reborn wart or a consequence of actinic keratosis, a precancerous skin condition. But in some cases, the growth can be malignant. The horns are removed surgically, and then their composition is studied to determine the cause of the growth. |
