Re: Sick Hydatid Cyst Surgery

ok I'm kinda lost... These clearish jelly blobs are a cyst that can develop in your liver?? Could you give a little info on this. it's new to me and after that video you have my attention!
a Hydatid cyst is formed during the stage in the life cycle of certain parasites, mainly tapeworms, during which they are enveloped in a protective wall. That person had an unreal amount in there.

Re: Sick Hydatid Cyst Surgery

They can form ANYWHERE! I've seen surgeries on the brain, the lungs, the liver, kidneys! They start when a human comes into contact with either dog crap or undercooked pork or beef, then the person, somehow (dog shit??), swallows the egg and it makes it's way from the stomach through the bloodstream. Lodging itself into major organs. Causing havoc. Making me want pudding.

Re: Sick Hydatid Cyst Surgery

this is why when staying over night at the hospital to steer clear of their "surprise breakfast" choice on the menu. if it was removed from a patient yesterday you can expect to find it on todays menu. its referred to as Institutional Basic Anatomical Recycled Food. (IBARF) is it any wonder hospital food doesn't taste good?

Re: Sick Hydatid Cyst Surgery

they shouldnt be so messy with those. The cysts need to be carefully removed because when they bust, the parasites inside escape and make more cysts in other organs.
