My buddy just had shingles a few months ago. Now he has some gnarly scars on his back from it.

i had shingles a few years ago, not as bad as these cases and it was down my back.

it was like having a really bad cold and shooting pains were the rash was so for about a week i didnt sleep

I'm actually still healing from having shingles. On my face none the less. Can't tell you how many times I woke up crying from the pain, and it still hurts. It was bad, but not as bad as these.

I had shingles when I was in 6th grade - I was only 12. The doctors said I was the youngest person they've ever seen have them. It was the most excruciating thing I've ever felt. I had it all over the right side of me, from back to front. I now have scars from where the sores were. No fun :(
