Re: Severe Sunburn
ice water and vinegar mix will take the heat out of sunburn. I can't count the times I had to use it on my brothers and my boyfriend. rather satisfying type of revenge in a way, dipping a wash rag in ice cold vinegar water then dropping it on their burned backs. |

Re: Severe Sunburn
had blisters one time in 4th grade, good god I still remember I couldn't move. Now, even though i'm blonde, I worship the sun in summertime (march-october here) and can't get enough of it, but I don't burn that much because i take it in doses so that by August I'm quite tan. In the written account of Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca, the first European to walk across North Amerca... by accident. He would write of how twice a year all of the skin on his body would shed like a snake, he walked through Texas, Mexico, NewMexico, and Arizona completely naked. I can only imagine the pain

Re: Severe Sunburn
That happened to me this summer because I did the stupid thing of insisting on going to the beach in the 46C heatwave. I had a ton of sunblock on but it didn't work. I'm Russian and Chinese, so I'm wondering where the heck my tanning genes went (considering my boyfriend who's also Russian got away with only a light tan).
