That person’s body might still be alive but that brain is toast. Let it die. There won’t be any quality of life there at all.

The body can survive for for a bit if the brain stem is not damaged and if there is not too much bleeding, but anyway the parts of the brain that store the guys memories and personality and also some motor functions are probably damaged beyond repair
