This is a severe case of dermatitis with intense itching, condition is present for last 10 years, involves both palms and soles with back of hands. Irritants to be avoided, wear gloves , keep hands dry, some times steroids may be applied to cut down the inflammation. Azathiprine, Methotrexate and PUVA therapy may be required.

Oh that's horrid

I had brief contact dermatitis from contact with formaldehyde at work, very lethal stuff and just that tiny patch was bad enough.

I got a very mild case of contact dermatitis from touching something at my job last month. Hives persisted for 3 weeks along with intense itching and burning sensations. My palms and fingers constantly were peeling. I can't imagine going through THIS.
