I take Lamictal, an anti depressant that has a high rate of Steven's-Johnson's. One of the scary things about it is that you can get Steven's-Johnson's at any time, especially when they do an increase. The first place the sores and boils pop up is usually around the vagina and labia or the mouth. I hate the risk I run, but Lamictal is the only thing helping me... |

There are a few other members who either take it now, or have in the past, with no side effects. This is a great thread to check out, if you like the medical section. You really do need to research the side effects of every new drug you are prescribed. Some of them are worse than your symptoms. I don't take it, but, the Mirena commercials scare me, if you want to get pregnant at any point! And, we never know how our bodies will react. What helps one of us will kill the next person. |
