those look like my mothers hands (picture 6). she had her joints eventually fused in both her hands and feet. she has suffered this disease since she was around 30 years old.

My mother jokes about hers. She says she could point around a corner just holding her hand out straight. Hey, she's almost 81, that is funny to her.

The not so funny is the pain, how she can't dress herself, open bottles or jars, and is forever dropping things because she just can't get a grip on them.
