Septal Perforation
Septal perforatoin is a hole through ones septum (not to be confused with septum piercings) and can occur due to nasal surgery, a fracture and in some cases drugs, mainly coke. The only info i got on the pictures was in the 2nd picture, a coke addict complained of longstanding nasal stuffiness, and On examination, he had crusting and ulceration of the nasal mucosa, perforation of the nasal septum, and a hole in his soft palate. Also, a video of how doctors repair this: [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6WJLeXyqxE"]YouTube - perforation repair 2.0[/nomedia] |
