She screamed and begged the nursing staff to stop everytime they packed and changed her dressings.
They ended up having to give her 20mg, that's a lot, of Morphine 20 minutes before the changes 3 times a day.
She actually went into shock a few times after the stupid Doctor put her Morphine down to 10 or 15mg.

To see my good friend go through this was very hard. But I supported her, although she had done a real dumb arse thing. But we both worked the same shifts and I know I would get so tired that I found it hard to sleep when home which would send me into Raving Bitch Mode!
I can't understand why she did this to herself and neither can she. I suppose she went just a little crazy.
She's fine now but totally embarrassed at the big scar.
