Second-Trimester Pregnancy Loss Delivered at Home
Pregnancy loss before 20 weeks is called miscarriage, while loss at or after 20 weeks is classified as stillbirth in the United States. Miscarriage is a pregnancy that ends on its own before that threshold. Miscarriage occurs in about 1 in 10 known pregnancies, most often in the first trimester. Chromosomal disorders cause about half of miscarriages; infections and problems with the uterus or cervix can also raise the risk. Clinical categories include threatened miscarriage, with bleeding and a closed cervix; inevitable miscarriage, with an opening cervix; incomplete miscarriage, with tissue remaining in the uterus; complete miscarriage, after all tissue has passed; and missed miscarriage, when the pregnancy has ended without symptoms. Management can involve waiting for tissue to pass, medication, or a procedure to remove remaining tissue. |

It's a miscarriage. The baby had been dead for a few days judging by its color though not long enough for swelling to become significant.

Thank you Bubblybabs I edited the text. Thought it was some dodgy illegal abortion due to the conditions and masks.
