Re: Scoliosis Surgery
My daughter had this done last year. It was her first surgery and it was a doozy but she feels and looks wonderful. She had kyphosis 92% curvature and it was crushing her heart and lungs so we had to do it. Pain management was ok and she had to learn to walk again because her balance had changed but we had the best medical care and doctor. Thank you, Dr. Shindell and Phoenix Children's Hospital. You saved my beautiful daughter, Erin's life and we are thankful! |

Re: Scoliosis Surgery
A friend of mine had/has really bad scoliosis and she underwent surgery. It didn't go well and she's still in extreme pain. She's an artist and her back limits how much she can do at a time and it frustrates her. She just got her insurance back so she can get her pain under control. These are X-rays of her back with the rods. And and example of her art. |
