This set of pictures makes me feel like throwing up. Cannot imagine the agony, never mind the fact her sight is now gone. Hope she gets good treatment for her schizophrenia and can have a bit of happiness/peace in her life.

She must've been so frightened of something. I almost wonder what her reasoning was behind this...There's almost always a reason. Maybe she was hallucinating horrible things, things so bad that she'd rather undergo the pain of hurting herself than look at them. But the joke is on her, for it wasn't her eyes that was making her see them. It was her own mind. What a horror to think that despite this drastic attempt at escaping them, they'll still appear to her in her mind's eye. She's in hell, I'm sure.
