That is fucking horrible. When I was between foster homes as a kid there was a group home I stayed in for a while. One of the fellas there with mental problems took his eye out with a spoon. I met his mother and that poor woman was absolutely beside herself about 23 hours a day. Every day. The guy was in his early thirties and had been in that condition all his life. Horrible thing for all involved x10. I wonder how things went for her and him... Thanks for the post.
