Of course they’re wearing gloves silly. They’re not doing surgery in a jungle with wooden tools, and speaking English also. Those are very tightly fit surgical gloves.

Since there is no surface/skin damage, it looks to be facial reconstruction surgery of some type. A nose and brow job, perhaps.

You gotta feel around in there, to make sure you didn’t leave any sharp barbs of bone and such.

if you look closely, he has metal installed in his brow, so yes most likely reconstruction after injury
