Santika Club Fire: 67 Dead in Bangkok, Thailand, January 1, 2009
A fire at Santika Club on Ekkamai Road in Bangkok, Thailand, killed 67 people shortly after midnight on January 1, 2009. The blaze began at about 12:35 a.m. during a New Year countdown party while the band Burn was playing. The club was registered as a private residence and had not undergone a fire inspection. It had only one main exit. Police blamed stage fireworks for starting the blaze, but early accounts also cited sparklers or an electrical explosion, and no single official cause was announced. · · · · ·

As you can see from the 5th picture, the obvious cause of the fire was the conveyor belt with children on that got jammed with one of their malnutritioned legs.
