If the drug addict mother gives birth at a hospital, the doctors/nurses will take the baby through withdrawl. I know I have read something about that somewhere. And I am sure to a baby, that is torture, not only are they physically sufferring going through withdrawl, but most likely they will become a ward of the state...Very sad and sensless.

And less horrible, but still horrible, are these dumb broads who smoke their gross cigarettes while pregnant.
The poor kids are born addicted to nicotine and then have to immediately withdraw from that with no help (and besides whatever other damage it can do to the baby).
