A 49-year-old Azerbaijani found out that his ex-lover did not spend the night at home, and decided to punish her. When the girl approached the house, the man attacked her, doused her with gasoline, set her on fire and calmly left.

Eyewitnesses were able to put out the fire and called an ambulance. The victim with terrible burns is now in intensive care.

I was about to make a joke about how they must not teach "stop, drop, and roll" in Azerbaijan, but as it turns out that method is not effective when you are doused with an accelerant. Water doesn't seem to help either. Unless you are close to an appropriate fire extinguisher, you're more or less fucked. The cruel act of a small man who couldn't see past his own nose. I hope she sues him into a black hole in space.
