Russia - 15 Cm Parasitic Worm Pulled Out of Someone's Chest
 "In Volgograd , a 15 cm long parasitic worm was pulled out of a peasant's chest. It turned out that the Volgograd man had recently been bitten by a mosquito, and a few days later doctors removed a huge white parasitic worm from his chest. This nasty reptile can move under the skin at a speed of up to 20 centimeters per day."

The mosquito picks up the Dirofilaria repens larvae from a host: "dogs and other carnivores." When an infected mosquito sips your blood, the parasitic larvae latch on to your skin and enter through the bite wound. Eventually, the larvae grow and can start moving. |
