Had a similar accident myself when I was 19. Router. Took Half an inch off my middle finger and a fairly major nick in the ring finger. Hurt like a bitch.  |

Well..at least he wasn't using a "Cove" bit... Would have looked cool I guess.. But would have sucked for him.. lol If your friend still has use of that finger? Tell him to stick with painting..   |

he had surgery Tuesday 6may2014, they managed to patch it up pretty good two more surgeries scheduled to repair tendons nerves and muscles, also skin grafting. They are expecting a decent recovery, limited function and feeling but it is expected to work alright in a years time
