Impressive surgery to actually give him the use of any fingers after such damage.
Looks ok to me....certainly a talking point at barbecues and parties when you go to grab a hotdog or whatever. I would rather have the use of lobster claw fingers than no fingers at all.

As funny as it looks, that is much better than having a prosthetic hand. I used to see a guy at the gym have something similar on his right hand except there was a third finger and all of them were 3/4 the length of a normal finger. He was benching and able to do many of the basic exercises.

I saw a Russian body builder on some website, who'd lost both hands and half an arm in an electrical accident as a teenager, but he was still pretty ripped and bulked up. He'd developed some sort of harnesses for holding bench press, dumbbells etc.
