Sucks. I guess he'll be investing in some gloves from now on, if he can afford them - otherwise, it's off to the grocery to become a cashier where everything is nice and safe and won't kill you.

actually, gloves could have caused a degloving. if the rope caught on the gloves.

Just ask any machinist why they dont wear gloves, scarves, ties, long hair down etc...
