Ring Too Tight on Pinky Causes Necrosis and Amputation
On the first day, the finger turned red but after a few days it became black and stopped functioning.  Eventually, the finger was amputated.

But they would have had to make it smaller, so the pinky would also turn black. But maybe her balance would improve, because she lost one finger, and then a pinkie to balance it out. But wouldn't they have to put the ring on the opposite foot pinkie, to make it even? Just thinking how to properly calculate this, using mathematics and engineering and stuff, makes my head hurt.  |
