Rhinoplasty On A Female

The open technique rhinoplasty is a procedure used routinely, as it has the disadvantage of leaving a scar on the proximal third of the columella usually favorable evolves over time. We use this procedure in selected patients with a history of previous nasal surgery, where we need to have adequate exposure of the anatomical elements, as is the case we present a female patient 38 years old with history of 3 previous rhinoplasties and which have applied multiple cartilage grafts at the tip, and a Silastic implant, which causes pain and significant edema.

Re: Rhinoplasty On A Female

I was thinking the same thing about her make up and wondering why they allowed her to wear it in surgery. Then I got to thinking maybe she had the permanent tattoo done.

Call me crazy but I like even a "hook"(eagle beak) nose to a swooping little button. Gotta have a strong nose. People are such conceited assholes. And most of them suck.

Re: Rhinoplasty On A Female

I had a deviated septum on my left side and I guess they did something similar, but, I didn't want my nose changed and it's not. It didn't affect my breathing. It was thought it might make it better. I didn't wear makeup though. I didn't sleep the night before because I had never been in a hospital or had any surgeries. I was afraid of the anesthesia and even donated my own blood although my ENT doctor assured me it's rare to need blood for that surgery. The anesthesiologist called it, "her cocktail", and told me I'd be awake, but, in a twilight zone state. I remember her tapping my left hand and saying my name. I know I had a female doctor with my doctor overseeing the surgery and interns watching it on a big screen. I remember my doctor looking down on me upside down telling me he was there, opening my eyes a few times and waking up in recovery starving with, "All My Children" on the tv. They fed me and I was fine. My boss took me home. I worked across the street from the hospital, went for follow up and was holding my niece, who was about two or so. The doctor told me not to chew anything hard or lift. I told him I had a ham sandwich and diet cola in recovery, had been babysitting and I was fine, but, everyone is different. I'm allergic to nearly everything. A woman I worked with had anesthesia and spent two weeks in bed, but, I can't remember what she had done. It was awhile ago.

I think the woman had the makeup on for the video and the lips may be tattooed. I'm not sure about the eyes. Could be.

Re: Rhinoplasty On A Female

Some people do use a deviated septum as an excuse for a nose job, but, I wanted to keep my nose. It goes with my head, lol!

Re: Rhinoplasty On A Female

To my eyes, quite a lot of new noses don't look right. Don't seem to suit.
