Rhabdomyosarcoma
Rhabdomyosarcoma is a type of sarcoma. Sarcoma is cancer of soft tissue (such as muscle), connective tissue (such as tendon or cartilage), or bone. Rhabdomyosarcoma usually begins in muscles that are attached to bones and that help the body move, but it may begin in many places in the body. She is now terminal because of an ulcerating tumor on the surgery site. Her words tldr: ‼️Trigger warning, not nice to look at‼️ I’ve been back & fourth over posting this sort of thing but it’s just part of the nightmare we are living in right now! So this is a result from the second surgery I’ve had to remove the five multi focal tumours that was inside my face. I had free flap surgery using my arm to replace the skin inside and outside of my face and bones were removed from my skull and jaw were the tumours has wrapped around them. This was by far the hardest time in my life & 5 months down the line it seems to just keep getting worse. My wound opened up within a matter of days of getting home. We & the doctor assumed it was my new skin flap pulling away and a plan was made to have the same surgery all over again… until I had a scan which showed it was infact the cancer returning & I now have an ulcerating tumour on my surgery site An ulcerating tumour is extremely difficult to treat and in many cases will be terminal like mine. Over the last couple of months it’s healed up, & broke down again within days. It leaks every time I try to open my mouth, to talk, to eat. & the doctors can’t offer me any solution to help this, instead told me my chemo will actually make this worse because my body will not be able to heal. The smell knocks me sick every day. I’ve been using Cannabis oil on the outside which seemed to help for a while but has since broken down again& I use colloidal silver spray directly onto the hole - do your research on this, it has amazing healing properties I guess this is just a lil too extreme Putting faith into our second & third opinions now |

Re: Rhabdomyosarcoma
I tend to be a bit flippant and harsh regarding just about any thread's subject matter. Not in this case. What a terrible manifestation this type of cancer is. Many cancers eat away from the inside, and the effect is not really noticeable until it is really too late. This a visual reminder that cancer gives zero fucks. I wish her only the best until she passes, hopefully as peaceful as can be expected.

Re: Rhabdomyosarcoma
But fuck, I thought they cut away skin until a pathologist cannot find any tumor cells anymore. So they either missed something or it came from somewhere else. Imagine having the surgery and everything and having to do it all over again. Hope she pulls through
