Yeah bloody hell. I watched some documentaries about it. One in particular is the extraordinary case of Alex Lewis. Poor guy. Lost all 4 of his limbs. I read somewhere he was on vacation and got bitten by a bug or something, or went to swimming I forgot. Who knew a bite of a bug could cause such ordeal. The guy was a champ and his wife deserve some respect for staying with him through all those. Not just bacteria, fungus can cause this kind of damage as well. Glad I'm living in modern age, in a modern city where sanitation is quite the priority. bloody hell. |
