Actually, a bot fly doesn't bite you. A mosquito with a bot fly egg or larvae on it lands on you and the egg/larvae drops onto you and then digs in for a comfy home.

now this is real, yeah I did some google-ing and wikipedia reading when I saw one in youtube, man that was in her head pulled out by a doctor. Pretty grouse and disgusting too.

real. ive seen several pic of the aftermath of gettin botfly eggs laid in you. although ive never seen one getn pulled out of someones eye!!!

Bot flies capture mosquitoes and lay eggs on them. When the mosquito bites, warmth from skin melts glue and the eggs drop. In the eye, maybe not.
