Re: Real or Fake
Botfly larvae are super common problems with livestock. Cattle, horses, and even rabbits get them. I've assisted in several sugeries to remove botfly larva from critters. Botflies are very dangerous to horses, esp. common on the east coast. They can do major internal damage to horses when the botfly eggs are licked off the horse's legs and ingested. There's oral pastes you give to horses regularly to safeguard them against bots, tapeworms, round worms, strongyles, bloodworms, etc. every 3 months. Vet lesson for the day over, haha |

Re: Real or Fake
ACTUALLY, the fly jus lands on the host and the body heat from the host's skin melts the glue that holds the eggs to the fly's body, the eggs fall onto the host's body , body heta makes the eggs hatch, larvae burrow in to the host's skin.&live and eat the host or something like that.
