A young gentleman in his early twenty's met with a road traffic accident resulting in dorsal composite soft tissue loss over his right hand in two areas. He also had composite soft tissue loss over the right foot as well as deep friction burns over both his legs which had not healed.

All unhealed friction burn areas were skin grafted.
Dorsal composite loss over the right hand was managed in stage I by free tissue transfer to facilitate further reconstruction if necessary.

That is some serious road rash. This what happens when you ride a motorcycle in flip flops and shorts. Must have been VERY painful.
