Different patients.

End-stage lymphedema, also known as lymphostatic elephantiasis, is the final stage of lymphedema and is characterized by extreme swelling in a limb due to a buildup of lymph fluid. The skin thickens, stretches, hardens, and changes color, and the limb can become large and deformed.

Wow. That’s some shit right there.

The third photo up from the bottom where the woman has one leg that looks like it’s formed from grass and the other looks like it’s turning to stone. Holy shitballs we humans sure get afflicted by all sorts or strange and bizarre ailments.

Wow. Amazing series.

well, i guess the buildup of fluid isn't as easy as just draining it huh? the last photo though , after all of that trauma and debriding of the legs, the skin can't just grow back , can it? must have had skin graft surgery. ewwww. it's shocking, but damn, how resilient the human body is. Iswear.
