My dad's dog has a 2'' cyst that is oozing on his leg and he has an appointment at the vet to remove it tomorrow. I asked him to tape it then I got the concerned dad tone that made me feel guilty. Hey, I tried.

Why is it taking so long to drain these cysts? When I had to squeeze the abscess on my rat's neck last week, it took less than five minutes and over a teaspoon came out. Just get it done. The animal might not like it, but that's what treats are for.
