had stitches in my pinky finger last month.. cut em out myself... hospital charges like $300 to remove em..
Plus I don't have to worry about them missing any..lol

I pulled all my stitches in my gums out years ago. They were supposed to dissolve but never did, so I had the horrible task of taking them out myself.

Have done that a few occasions.
Annoying when they hang down from the top..
Cut a few out like that while they were fresh...lol

O_o Any stitches removal should be included in your first post-op appointment, which is included as part of the surgical fee.

Though, I have to say that I've had to snip out a suture that started to dissolve out of my wisdom teeth removal and was hanging down and annoying the piss out of me.
