Having been through several in grown toenail operations in the past, despite having my toes numbed up, there was still some pain, so I can imagine someone who has a low pain tolerance crying about it. Of course, that was just some minor cutting, not having a whole fingernail yanked off.

I've had my left large toenail removed and despite copious amounts of local anaesthetic it still really stung when pulled out |
