I used to get something like that when I worked in a sailing boat yard in the tropics. I was hot and sweaty and dirty all day log, and my groin and nuts had a livid red rash all over, like an open wound. It was an open wound, sore and stinging as hell. Man, it was miserable and depressing.

Thanks for sharing - try the steroidal cream, it might do a bit better for you. And maybe it sounds silly, but baby-powder and just walking around naked as much as possible (perhaps just at home) will help. Er, should. Score on bagging a doctor that'll understand. I hate having to explain medical conditions to new partners..some freak like morons (dumped, quickly) -- you're lucky.
