Re: Progeria: the 80-Year-Old Children

Ok, wait, one family has five children who all have Progeria? Why would someone keep reproducing when all of their children have a recurring/devastating disease? Or are they quintuplets?

I was thinking the exact same thing. I think it's terrible that someone would keep having kids when they're going to go through life looking old, and be dead at 13.

In spite of their disease, I think they're adorable.

and for the most part they are smiling in every single picture. (but not the microsoft support team ones some reason.) kind of makes me feel bad for bitching about trivial shit.

I'm glad that they're at least happy through their hard, short life. Imagine the stares they get.

This is incredibly sad, but fascinating. We know so much about it but can't help it.
