Prison Escapee Shoots Himself in the Stomach with a Shotgun
Turkey, A 30 year old man that served a 5 month sentence in an "open" prison regime was upset his wife and kids never visited him. Actually the wife and kids moved to a different city to get away from him. He escaped prison, got hold of a shotgun and called police he wanted to commit suicide and the only way to stop that was him seeing and talking to his wife and kids. During 2 hours police tried to contact the wife but she couldn't be reached. In the meantime relatives of the man arrived but couldn't prevent him from pointing the gun at his stomach and pull the trigger. He's in Hospital now with a non-life threatening wound.  Serious mental problem so fits in here.  |
