Re: Precious with Story :)
While I get your frustration in this matter, its bullshit. FIRST OFF, abortion is not murder! I don't give a flying fuck about what any pro-life douche has to say, it isn't. A fetus CANNOT sustain life prior to five months, hence why it is illegal to abort after five months. Secondly, there are over 520,000 children in foster homes, or group homes. And with many parents now outsourcing to other countries to adopt, there simply are not enough homes. I'm not saying lets abort all these kids off, I'm just saying there aren't enough willing parents to adopt. There simply isn't. And you my dear, are wrong. It is not as easy as you think to adopt a child, nor is it cheap. Adopting can cost into the hundreds of thousands of dollars, and many parents are turned away. A prime example is the state of Florida; Florida does not allow homosexual couples to adopt. Hundreds, if not thousands, of good homes are being denied simply based on their sexual orientation, but that is another argument itself. Thirdly, you are forgetting one MAJOR situation here. What about all the women who were raped? They didn't ask for that. That certainly isn't their fault. Yes, I know that most women don't get raped, but it still happens, more often than it should at least. How is it healthy to have this child grow up with a mother who is most likely still traumatized from such and incident, and will most likely see the rapist, or relive the incident every time she looks at the child? And no mother is going to continue carrying that child after such and event and then just give it up for adoption. Finally, (directed to the article itself) that damn fetus isn't grabbing for anything, nor can it recognize anything. A baby doesn't even recognize its mother for weeks. And they don't start to grab at anything until 4 months, so this article's theories are to shit. I'm not saying these damn teenagers aren't responsible for their actions. Yes, they should have to pay for their actions, but you can't just go around saying get rid of it all together. |

Re: Precious with Story :)
What a ridiculous comment. If every American was opposed to abortion we wouldn't have the heated debate we have now. The reality of the matter is that many people look to the State for their morality, and when the State makes it legal in their eyes it becomes less immoral (ie: cigarettes and alcohol vs. marijuana.) The United States of a Miracle is trying to turn itself into a mediocre European Microcountry...it is horrifying to watch. We're better than that.
