I think all he was saying is how alot of us feel, humans are ok to see hurt/dead but when it comes to animals we all have a soft spot, just letting out the anger. No need to crucify the poor guy...

Well, FFS. This site is about the macabre. I make no excuses for myself. I come here because deep down I must be a little twisted. Now, I'm not condoning animal cruelty, but get a grip, people. We all deliver comments with black humour, but I'm sure none of us would like to see our children, our parents, our siblings or our friends dying. And no matter what people say, I value human life over the life of an animal any day. The guy sounded like some 12 year old with his ridiculous comments. Prize bell-end - he should get a grip. |

Spoken like somebody who evidently has no friends, no family and who is clearly universally despised by humanity. Only a person with such qualities could value the life of a cat over that of a human. If the fact that I love my family and my friends and value their lives over the lives of any animal makes me childish in your eyes, well, I feel very sorry for you. |

Now, I know people on this site (myself included) must be slightly messed up to visit a site like this. But there are some very, very strange people here. People who hate humans. I really do feel sorry for you guys, and I know that sounds patronizing, but it's true. Not to have the love of another person, not to hold your newborn baby, nurture them. No to feel sorrow when a close family member dies. Not to have close friends who help you in times of need. I realize that some people aren't as fortunate as me, aren't as fortunate as the vast majority of people in the civilized world, but really, to get all bent out of shape because a cat's been injured? Did you feel similar shock and outrage when you saw the baby being ran over by a train?  We're all voyeurs, but I like to think that myself and hopefully many other visitors to this site, are saddened and horrified by man's inhumanity towards man, because we imagine such a thing happening to us or to those we love. That's the nature of voyeurism. If anything I've said in any previous posts has offended anybody, well, I'm sorry, but in all honesty some of the things you guys have said have offended me. We can't keep everyone happy. I just wish some of you could have a better perspective on life, and I wish that you led lives as fulfilling as my own so you could value the lives of humans.
