Poor Baby
A case of meningococcemia with the pathological agent being the Neisseria meningitidis bacteria. The presence of these bacteria in the blood results in severe septicemia, (blood poisoning) and thrombi, (blood clots). An acute fulminating disease or an insidious disorder is produced persisting for months or even years with necrosis and tissue death.
