Well where I live there are lots of bears but only heard of one bear attack and that was when this guy actually went out looking for the bear as it had been taking some sheeps. The guy shot the bear with a shotgun and the bear started eating away at him. Bears are normally afraid of people and won't go near them unless they have to.

polar bears lure kids with their coca cola, but if they come close enough to the polar bears, the kids get eaten alive!

you are probably right...they shouldn't have killed it. They could have sedated it, they are becoming extinct...why kill it just because some man got drunk and tried to play with what seemed like a friendly bear. Dude seriously
