Ppl who live upstairs above me have a pit bull. Some ppl have pit bulls as a means to intimidate others so ppl will think twice about approaching them. I've noticed that the majority of dog shelter's in my city and beyond are full of pit bull dogs that the shelters are trying to adopt out to the public. Pit bulls should be taken to a kill center and be put to death. They serve no purpose other than being attack dogs.

A couple of years ago, I had one of my dogs attack a dog that I was taking care of for the owner. He had him firmly by the neck. I used all methods that I could think of to get my dog to release him, i.e., turning the water hose on him, hitting him with a stick. As I didn't want my dog to kill this dog, I decided to go hands on. My dog firmly latched onto my hand when I tried to pry his jaws off the other dog. Luckily, I only had a severe injury to my middle finger. I went through surgery to repair the damage. The function and most of the nerves are good. The dog who attacked........a Labrador retriever. He was never abused. |

I won't go into the whole argument but I grew up with Pitbulls and they were the best dogs I owned.  |

It's a strange case for sure. No previous bad behavioural tendencies? Always wonder why people couldn't just lay down on the dogs neck in this situation. That would break any digs neck almost instantly or at the very least suffocate them enough to let you escape.....don't get me wrong, I love dogs more than people but there are life threatening situations |

Dog attacks are one thing. Surprise dog attacks by previously “normal” acting dogs is another. But for fucks sake; any breed that was specifically bred to bite, hold on, and not let go EVEN WHEN SHOT WITH A GUN should not be a household pet. There’s just no fucking need. |

I strongly believe the woman must have made sex with someone when she returns from gym or with the trainer....the other man's smell in her body must have triggered the attack , which might have offensive to the dog... |
