Pitbull Brutally Attacks 25 Year Old Woman in and Out of Elevator
Colombia, A dramatic event was recorded last Thursday in a building in Cúcuta, in which a 25-year-old woman was brutally attacked by a pitbull dog. The fact has caused a stir in the city, as the attack was recorded on the building's elevator security camera and has gone viral on social networks, generating strong controversies about dangerous breed dogs like the one that attacked this woman. However, the events unfolded in such a way that it would have been difficult to prevent it from happening. According to the journalistic report of the local newspaper, the woman was inside her room, where the dog, Beinon, as the 4-year-old pitbull is called, was also, which unexpectedly began to attack her. The victim's reaction was to crawl as best she could, while being attacked, to the common area of the building and try to enter the elevator, while screaming for help. The woman managed to get down the five floors of the building, defending herself as best she could from the dangerous animal, until other neighbors could help her. “She has fractures in two fingers of her right hand, a phalanx on her left. She is still hospitalized and pending transfer to a clinic for a medical procedure, "said the police officer. The dog, which had apparently always behaved appropriately, and which left the building with a muzzle, was delivered to the Zoonosis Center of the Health Secretariat of Cúcuta, where it will undergo behavioral analysis for a few days. According to the owner, she is responding to the victim's family, who lived with her and two other people in the apartment. “ The dog has everything, even his own bed and all the vaccinations. He had never been aggressive with anyone and those who came to see him found that he is peaceful, ”said the woman. “'Beinon' had never attacked anyone and, on the contrary, he has always been a docile little dog. We always took him out with a muzzle, ”said the owner of him sadly. That day (Thursday) the young woman would have left for the gym and came back hours later -reported the owner-, she changed her clothes and entered the room where the pitbull was, to look at herself in a mirror. |

Re: Pitbull Brutally Attacks 25 Year Old Woman in and Out of Elevator
I always find it fascinating that basically ONE dog breed is known for attacking and killing people. Why in the world do we NOT eliminate the breed? And for the people who say "Oh they were abused" or "They were poorly trained" - if that is true, how come you don't hear of Chihuahuas or Shi Tzus killing people? If animal abuse is equal across breeds (one would assume there is not a disproportionate number of abuses to ONE breed), there is surely evidence to support the claim that vicious dog attacks are the direct result of abuse and NOT something inherent in the dog...but I have never heard this.

Chihuahua (or any other smaller dogs) are actually vicious. But because of their size and strength they're not a threat. Pitbull, however : "Today's pit bull is a descendant of the original English bull-baiting dog—a dog that was bred to bite and hold bulls, bears and other large animals around the face and head." |
