Pictures of Man With A Sebaceous Cyst
A 28 year old man had had this left upper lid lesion for the past 3 year. The lesion grew with time causing social embarrassment and mild ptosis. The cyst was removed by carefully freeing it from the surrounding tissue. A sebaceous cyst, also known as an epidermoid cyst or epidermal inclusion cyst, is a common noncancerous skin cyst that forms when an oil-producing gland in the skin becomes blocked. These cysts typically develop just beneath the surface of the skin and are filled with a thick, yellowish, and foul-smelling material called sebum. |
