Eye-tattooing started as a way of giving blind people a more "normal" apperance, seeing as some of them have white/very light colored irises. Didn't quite catch on with the blind people, probably cause they couldn't see the outcome, but body modification peeps got a hold of the idea, and it's become kinda trendy amongst the "hardcore tattoo guys" Yeah, I feel like a know-it-all now |

the history channel featured this in their history of tattoos show. they showed the guy getting it done but wouldn't say exactly how cuz they didn't want people doing it at home
