Many years ago my exhusband had gotten into an arguement that got physical when he pushed me against a wall so I waited till he fell asleep that night and cracked him in the nuts with a meat tenderizor. When ha was able to breath again I told him that if he ever put his hands on me in anger again he could expect more of the same cause he's got to sleep sometime. Needless to say THAT never happened again.
