Water Does Not conduct electricity. The contaminants added to water can make it conductive, such as salt. The salt from your body in a tub of water makes in conductive....urine is not very conductive. The 220 watts would not do this unless he fucked the outlet.

Hmmm the story behind this is very hmmm untrustworthy. It IS possible for this to happen but it does depend on the footwear, if the bloke is wearing no shoes then he is earthed so he will complete the circuit. However, 220v wouldn't do this sort of damage. This is more like 700v and upwards. This is how skydivers etc can get caught up in H.T power transmission lines in excess of 500,000v as when they are hanging there they are part of the circuit so they have the same potential as the electricity passing through. Interesting though and can easily make the 'not-in-the-know' among us think otherwise. |
