Sharon, I don't think those are scissors...they look like hemostats to me (to clamp down on a bleed, likely). Jesus, that's a damned scary injury. I hope she recoups well - it'd be amazing to see some more images of the damage and, of course, of the patient after recovery/reconstructive surgery. Some of those guys are artists of the flesh, it's just astounding some of the things they can pull off nowadays with a scalpel and stitch! |
